The family has been asking the government and we'll wishers to help them recover their son who has been in the mine since last year 2021. He was trapped inside the mine after the mine collapsed.
According to reliable sources of information, the family has indicated that they will be forced to bury the banana according to Luo tradition.
This usually happens when the body of the deceased or any other person dies and his or her body is lost.
Tom Okwach's family was hopeful that their son would be rescued but due to heavy rains in the area, rescue was cut short.
Despite the horrible incident that in Siaya county I have seen resilience from the family and community. Nothing will stop them from finding Tom okwatch.
This is very sad and let us come together and pray for Tom Okwach's family during this difficult time.
Let's hope that all gets well with family of the deceased.I pray for the Kenyan government to help this family retrieve their son.
