Motorists in Nairobi have to be very careful with their cars from both seasoned thieves and streets children targeting their car's valuable parts. Side mirrors, catalytic converters,spare wheels, headlamps and car's batteries are the most targeted by these thieves.

A man is in great pain after what happened to him today at around 7:30am along museum hill near the roundabout. It is reported that street children manning the area descended on his car during rush hour and plucked his car's side mirror before disappearing away.

Kenyans have now been warned to be very careful of these street children at this area during the rush hours.
The vehicle parts are sold in the black market from where they have a very quick market at low prices.
Cases of car thefts and targeting of car's parts has been on the rise within Nairobi and it's environs and car owners must be very careful.
