A police officer has lost her 3 children and a house help after a fire razed down her house. The now distraught police officer is attached to Elementaita police station and had moved to her rented house at Florex area of Nakuru East three days ago.
"One of our police officers has lost three children and her house girl in a house fire. The four were burnt beyond recognition." Area deputy police commander Phanton Analo said.
After suggestions that the accident could have been caused by electricity, Mr Analo ruled out the narrative saying their was no electricity supply in the house when the incident happened.
Police officers say the four were burnt beyond recognition and their bodies have been moved to Nakuru County mortuary pending investigation on what could have been the cause of the fire.
It has been revealed that when the unfortunate incident happened, the police officer was on duty.
Residents say they noticed a dark smoke hallowing from the house at around 10 pm, but had serious trouble accessing the house because it is enclosed with a high perimeter fence.
