KPLC Announces Electricity Blackout on Wednesday 18 May Within the Listed Areas

Kenya power has announced another blackout on Tuesday, 18th May 2022 in the mentioned parts of the country. KPLC has therefore revealed that 8 counties are expected to receive planned power Interruptions tomorrow. Therefore KPLC has apologised for any inconveniences that may be caused. Members of the public should note that not all places within the mentioned counties will be affected.

planned power Interruptions for Wednesday indicates that, Nairobi County, specifically Donholm, Savannah road will be affected. Other places including New Donholm East, old Donholm East, Kioi plaza, Donholm Total petrol station, Donholm Equity bank, Donholm Co-op bank, Donholm primary school and other adjacent customers. Therefore power interruptions will start from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.

Parts of Nyeri County will also be affected on Wednesday, Gatondo Market, Gatondo Secondary, Itundu market, Kariki tea buying center, Gitema in tea buying center, Chege Tea Buying Center and other adjacent customers. They are likely to receive blackout as from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. Members urged to prepare adequately.

Parts of Kisii County, areas to be affected include Suneka and Gesonso. Other adjacent customers include Bridge Camp, Nyabururu, Marani, Nyakungu, Riamasagara and Suneka shopping centre.
