A recently graduated police constable has died while undergoing a special training at National Police Service At Embakasi A college.
Police say Bernard Khisia Wabwoba who was among 1048 police graduates attending special inspectorate training, collapsed during a morning run exercise at the college.
The incident was confirmed by the Assistant Inspector General Commandant of Embakasi National Police Training college A James Kamau. He said that wabwoba died at 3 pm on Tuesday, November 22.
"Bernard was rushed to the college health clinic where he was pronounced died on arrival. His body was in good condition and had no any physical injuries. He had not complained of any illness before the commencement of the training." Kamau said.
Wabwoba reported to the training camp with other police graduates on Friday, November 18. The 1048 police graduates distributed to various training camps; National Police Commission Main campus-Kiganjo, NPS Embakasi A campus and NPS Embakasi B Campus.
