Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has sent a message to Kenyans as the frstive season gears up.

CS Murkomen now says that Kenya is needlessly losing many lives on the roads as a result of the rampant road accidents.
The remarks by Murkomen come after he received and read a report concerning the safety of Kenyan roads during the festive season.
He has urged Kenyans to drive carefully as they travel around the country to celebrate with their loved ones and be mindful of lives and welfare of others in obedience to the law to curb the rampant loss of lives as a result of accidents.
"World Cup is over. Christmas is around the corner. I am reading reports concerning our road safety. We are needlessly losing many lives. Please let’s drive carefully and be mindful of lives and welfare of others. Let’s obey the law," CS Kipchumba Murkomen said.
