Yesterday, a story of a man from Machakos who was accused of eating Ksh 344,500 received from Godfrey Owino trended. Claims had it that the man, Justin Kioko from Machakos had pretended to be a woman and blackmailed Godfrey who sent him cash for shopping and fare.
Kinuthia Kelvin whose photos were used in the viral story broke silence and claimed that he is not connected to the story in any way. He explained that he is a Kikuyu and not a Kamba as indicated by bloggers in their story. He added that he does not know Godfrey Owino.
He thanked all his friends and fans who called and even sent messages to inquire about the story.
Below are more photos of Kinuthia Kelvin.
Sometimes we find bloggers using photos of Innocent people to spread fake news. This is one way of cyber bullying and we need to be careful. We hope no one will become a victim of such.
