Details have emerged after the brutal killing of Catherine Nyokabi after her father revealed that status of their relationship throughout their courtship. Gitonga Njogu told journalists that the reason her daughter had broken up with her killer boyfriend Evans and was seeing other men was because she had discovered he was a married man.
Catherine is said to have called it quits after finding out her lover was married and had children and decided to move on but Evans didn't hear any of it, he kept following her. Gitonga stated that her family knew Evans was married two weeks before her death and by then they had already broken up.
Evans kept it a secret for a very long time little did he know that Catherine would poke into his private life and discover she was only but a 'side-chic'. So when she was called by Evans to go and solve their issues, she thought they would resolve the matter only for her to never come back home, Mr Gitonga told police and journalists.
The matter got out of hand after Catherine posted another man on her social media platform and when asked to take it down she refused making Evans get hurt. He ruthlessly butchered her like an animal leaving her in pieces.
