Several cases of accidents have been recorded along the Nairobi expressway and the government has made a major announcement to cut short these issues of accidents. The government has banned all Matatu vehicles along the Nairobi expressway and all the vehicles which will be allowed to use the road will have to drive at 110 kph to avoid such cases of accident.
However, this is a good step to ensure that the life of passengers is saved to avoid cases of accidents on our roads. The government has done this simply because most cases of accidents have occurred after the expressway was completed. Officers also should ensure that all vehicles are in good condition and also arrest all the drivers who are driving without a driving license. The drivers should ensure that they follow the traffic rules to avoid such cases of accidents and also to save the lives of innocent passengers.
