Tears Flow as Kiambu Tycoon and Owner Of Josu Schools Is Laid To Rest

Around four days ago, Kiambu residents were treated to some shocking news after the untimely demise of an area tycoon and well known leader.

Susan Mburu, was the sole owner of Josu Schools after the untimely death of her husband John Mburu, back in 2005.

Susan was also a famous church leader(elder) who was loved by many who emulated her.

Ex-Jubilee senate Isaac Mwaura led locals as they laid the beloved mum to many to rest.

Elder Susan Mburu the proprietor of Green Edgewood Academy (Josu) and of PCEA Tumaini Parish in Githurai, who spoke as my mother during my wedding, was a close family friend for many years.

Today, we laid her to rest next to her late husband Dr. John Mburu at Kirenga in Lari. We had farewell service at the PCEA Kirenga church.

She was a very hardworking woman who served as a teacher and a strict disciplinarian for many years. She has been a mentor to so many people including myself.

Her philosophy was that the Lord blesses the work of our hands, urging all to work harr and smart. After resigning from TSC in 2004, she transferred her teaching services to Green Edgewood Academy where she trained many young minds. The school was ranked 3rd in Kiambu County and 97th in the whole country in last years KCPE exam.

Psalms 62:1 - He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
