Following high rates of crimes in Dandora, on Sunday, police officers killed two suspects who have been linked to robbery in the area.
According to police and residents of Kibarenge area, a group of unknown thugs riding on a bike has been robbing them.
These group of thugs shot and harmed a 33 year old man on his thigh. The man was quickly taken to Mama Lucy Hospital, Nairobi for treatment as stated by Adamson Bungei, Nairobi police boss.
According to Mr. Bungei, the thugs were gunned down as they tried to escape using their motorbike.
During the operation, police officers recovered a motorcycle, two homemade guns, two empty cartridges and three live bullets.
Mr. Bungei as well reported that one of the suspects killed in the operation was a slain suspect who was just released from prison. The suspect by the name Yutman Mgaza was released from prison in December 2022.
Their bodies were delivered to the morgue for storage.
