The Boychild's Fate in Kenya Remains in Dilemma

Kenya recovers over $30 million graft loot | CGTN AfricaThe Kenyan boychild has been neglected over the recent years. In sectors such as education, employment is some of the areas where the boychild lacks recognition. Today we hear of many organizations which safeguard girls' and women's rights but you will never hear of any organization supporting men and boys. What should be kept in mind is that even boys and men suffer. Detailed information concerning the boychild is as follows.

1. In the education sectorNYAMAGWA GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL - YouTube

Over the past 3 years, girls have outshined their boys' counterparts in the Kenya National Examinations, especially at the Primary level. Last year, many female candidates sat for the exams more than their male counterparts. In the past, society was responsible for educating on social issues such as moral values which could later help them how to go on with life. Today things are no longer the same, it is vice versa as many communities today prefer educating the girl at the expense of the boy child.

2. Employment sector

Many companies and today encourage women to apply for jobs and due to this, many job positions have been feminized. The belief that what a man can do a woman can do better should cease with immediate effect because this really hurts boys.

3. Politically

Politically, the rise of women's position in politics has been witnessed. The constitution has guaranteed them free seats no matter what. Arguably, a few years from now, we shall have more women in government than men. This is evident now as one arm of the government is already being headed by a woman, and that is the judiciary.

4. Economically

Economically, many banks help women financially by granting loans. To men, this remains a dream as there is no such to them.
