Begin Your Day With Blessings by Reading These Bible Verses

*Pay attention to the voice of your destiny.*

The Lord is determined to give His people leadership so that they will not loose the path to their destiny. *He promises to lead them besides still waters and to prepare a table for them in the sight of their enemies.* As human beings move towards fulfilling the purposes of God in their lives, they need the voice of the Lord to guide them to their goal. *That is the voice of destiny.* Just as modern cars have a system that guides drivers towards their destination, the Spirit of the Lord who indwells believers *leads them to where God wants them to be.*

John 16:12-14

“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

Today's scripture gives us an assurance that the Lord will instruct those who follow him and guide them on the path to follow. Any person who desires to attain the fullness of the plan of God for their lives will do well to heed to His still small voice. Believers need to know that the voice of God is not always dramatic. The Holy Spirit can lead us through an inward witness, an audible voice, dreams, a prophetic word, visions, or through the spoken word.* We should be keen enough to heed His voice when He speaks to us. Take time today to seek God's voice for your destiny.

1st Kings 19:11-13

Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, *but the Lord was not in the wind;* and after the wind an earthquake, *but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and *after the fire a still small voice.

So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
