A popular land conning scheme involving a well known Nairobi businessman was arrested by detectives after being on the run for the past 2 years. The architect of Goldenscape Group known as Peter Wangai Muriithi was arrested after various complains of defrauding several of his clients in the guise of land buying scheme that ended up being a sham.
According to K24 digital news media platform, the suspect was arrested and immediately taken to Milimani courts where he was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku. He was charged for 21 charges of defrauding investors close to 20 million by false pretense in his Kimathi house offices after depositing with his firm millions.
The suspect was however given a 5 million bond or 2 million cash bail awaiting mention of the case in April 1st or if he fails to be remanded in industrial area prison. Investors in the case suffered huge losses after the suspect fraudulently asked them that he will give thousands in return from investing through a greenhouse project.

03-18 18:56:03But even if he is arrested, it is very rare to recover the full amount he has stolen from people. Our laws are extremely soft on huge looters and very harsh on small looters. The only answer to stop looters in this country especially with huge amounts of money stolen from individuals and government is to take anything they have ever owned from people, then parade them at a public place for firing squad. This will eliminate nonsensical issues of people taking others for granted and continue enjoying their loot due to vested interests from some quarters and influential family connections,as the poor spend thier little time they have attending long overdue court cases managed by the same cartels. 🤔🇰🇪.
