Popular philanthropist and MC Karangu Muraya was badly attacked online today after allegations that he takes advantage of those he helps online.
At the same time, a lady who lives in the US alleged that she sent Karangu Muraya 200,000 Kenyan shillings to buy her land in Kenya in 2020 but the money 'drank water'
The allegations were shared by lawyer Wahome Thuku on his Facebook page.
Hours later, Karangu Muraya defended himself stating that 150,000 was deposited into the account of the land seller's lawyer.
The plot was going for 500k but the buyer (the lady in the US) decided that she no longer needed it.
He said that he went to the lawyer's office today to sign the papers for the refund of the money.

Karangu also shared receipts showing that the money was with the land seller's lawyer (Iganjo enterprises) and not with him as insinuated by the lady by the name Alice Wamaitha.
