A family in Musengo, Kitui county, has been in grief for the loss of their loved one. According to reports from well-known sources, the deceased was a famous armed robber causing havoc to the residents. The deceased was shot dead while trying to escape along Ngong road.
The police reported that they spotted the deceased behaving suspiciously outside a mall in south B. the dead fled the scene immediately after he sensed danger. The officers followed him before catching up with him along Ngong road.
The officers added they shot the deceased after he drew a gun from his waist. 
Although the police officers report that the deceased was an armed robber, the family contradicts the reports saying that the deceased was a hardworking, determined, dedicated, and humble guy. The family added that the deceased was attacked by unknown assailants who roughed, robbed, and killed him on his way home.
The deceased's body was laid to rest on Wednesday as the Nairobi police officers sought to arrest other accomplices of the deceased.
