67-Year-Old Man Found Dead Inside His House In Nairobi’s Eastleigh Estate

A 67-year-old man was found dead inside his house in Nairobi’s Eastleigh estate on Sunday morning.

According to his neighbour identified as John Musya, he noticed a red blood coming out of the house as he was mopping his house.

"As I was walking down and mopping the stairs I saw the door was open. I went towards it is during this time I saw the 67-year-old nonagenarian man lying on the floor," John said.

“I rushed to the nearest police station and reported the incident,” he added.

A report filed at Pumwani Police post at 8:00pm, under the OB Number 56/17/10/2021, read the deceased might have killed himself using a kitchen knife.

Neighbours said no commotion was heard in the house during the Saturday night, adding that the man was staying alone in the two bedroom house.

The crime was visited by crime investigating offices who documented their reports and transferred the body to Nairobi City mortuary pending postmortem.

The Sunday morning accident is still under police investigations with the officers trying to analyse the deceased’s mobile phone conversation.
