"It Will Not Happen Under My Watch" New IG Daring Message To Robbers and Gangs

On Friday, November 11, 2022 Kenyans were ushered into a new dawn after they received a new inspector general of police.

Japheth Koome was sworn in today to be the Inspector General of police. Koome has been in the acting capacity since Mutyambai developed some illness.

After his Swearing-in, Japhet Koome has sent a daring message to robbers and gangs who have been stealing and killing Kenyans.

Nairobi has been Specifically mentioned to be a place gangs and robbers have been stealing and robbing Kenyans from.

Raila Odinga had raised an alarm over the sudden increased of theft and gangs months after President Ruto took over power.

Koome has said that under his tenure as the inspector general of police, gangs and thieves will not have space to steal from the public.

Koome is expected to lay down strategies that will curb the rise of theft and robberies in Kenya.
