Murder suspect offers police officer ksh30k bribe in exchange for his freedom

Murder suspect yesterday offers police officer ksh30000 bribe in exchange for his freedom, Mombasa County.

This is according to the Facebook post by K24 Digital on Wednesday morning.

"While appearing before Mombasa principal magistrate Vincent Adet, Abdalla told the court that he offered a police officer Ksh30,000 in exchange for his freedom." The statement read in part.

The offender identified as Hussein Abdalla Mohamed appeared before Mombasa principal magistrate Vincent Adet.

The court heard that the he fled under lawful custody two times.

It is before escaping when he offered the police ksh30000 to buy his freedom.

He was re-nabbed and detained at the Central police station in Mombasa, where he successfully fled for the second time.

Since he was prepared to shed light on the ksh30000 bribery, Abdalla said that he opted to surrender to the cops at the Bamburi police station.

Following his narrative, two cops; Hassan Bakari and Samuel Marwa, were suspended.

Police have launched investigations into the incident.
