Former member of parliament for laikipia constituency has been arrested in his home in kajiado county. Early in the morning the DCI officers arrived in his home in kajiado. They face alot of resistance but finally managed to arrest him.
Laikipia constituency has been having alot of issues in the past days. Just yesterday several houses were torched including a school in the region. Seven people have already lost lifes and several are injured.
Rift valley regional commissioner yesterday visited the region. He noted that the bandits are using dangerous and sophisticated weapons to attack the residents. Some are using M16 guns, while the defence forces are using G3 and AK-47 machines.
However the commissioner assured the public that they are starting an operation to mob out the bandits. We hope the real issue is determined and all shall be well.
Members of the public are now requesting the government to take strict measures to prevent such crime activities.
