Sleuths in Nakuru county are currently hunting down five thugs who reportedly killed a GSU cop from the famous Recce squad leaving his two brothers seriously injured.
According to sources, police officer assigned to the Recce Squad was killed after being seriously injured in an attack by armed thugs in Nakuru county's Mazembe area.
According to a police report released on Sunday, Harrison Onywonki was in the company of his two brothers; Hezron Onwonga and Morara Onwonga when they were attacked by a group of about five armed suspects.
It has emerged that the three tried to fight the heavily armed Gangsters who left them fighting for their dear lives.
The GSU cop was reported to have died at the hospital due to injuries he incurred during the deadly fight.
On the other hand his two brothers were treated and discharged from hospital.
Detectives are currently asking kenyans to help trace the rogue thugs who have wreaked havoc in Nakuru county.
