A matatu conductor was beaten to death by colleagues after scuffle in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
The deceased, identified as Nashon Nganga, was reportedly ganged up and beaten by his colleagues on Tuesday after a fight in matatu stage.
The deceased reportedly sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Mama Lucy hospital for emergency treatment where he succumbed while undergoing treatment.
The police in Kiambu County are now investigating the circumstances under which the deceased met his death at the hands of the rogue colleagues who are now on the run.
According to Nashon’s wife, her husband returned home with a swollen face and injuries in the head.
Nashon, however, died while undergoing medical treatment at the hospital.
His body was later transferred to the hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Kenyans who came across the story expressed their disappointment over the killing of the tout whom they mourn as polite and hardworking man.
They urged the police to make sure that the perpetrators behind the killing are arrested.
