A video of a daylight Robbery that occurred at Lavington Shopping Center has been posted today. The video was posted on Twitter by one of Kenya's popular bloggers, Cyprian Nyakundi, in which the thieves made away with goods worth millions and cash.
They drive off in a Toyota Allion with the goods and the money they had stolen. A police officer standing at the gate tries to intervene to stop them but they almost run him over with the car. He manages to step away from the oncoming vehicle on time.
The police officer then manages to fire at the thugs but this does not deter their efforts of getting away with the loot. The officer, however, fires on the ground right next to the vehicle as it is driving off.
It is not yet revealed how much money the thugs made away with but it is estimated to be millions. The incident took place yesterday on Wednesday, April 21st at precisely 4PM in the afternoon.
