A 56-year-old former prisoner who strangled teenage girl to death and dumping her body in a pit still at large, Kisumu County.
Police in Kisumu County have launched a manhunt for the killer suspect who murdered the deceased after was reported missing for few days.
Brief reports by Kisumu County police boss indicates that the lifeless body of the deceased was discovered by locals who later notified the police.
Police said that the teenager was strangled to death and her body deserted in the pit.
The County Police commander added that they believed that the young was murdered by the suspect following a poor relations between him and the girl's parents.
Witnesses accounts revealed that the deceased was last seen in the accompany of the suspect before she was found dead.
The lifeless body of the deceased is still lying at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue, Kisumu County.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
