The Illness That Led To The Death Of The Former Senior Police Boss Has Been Revealed

The police department is still finding it hard to come to terms with the sudden death of the former Senior Assistant Inspector General of police after a long battle with a deadly disease.

Charlton Murithi, the former senior police, died while receiving treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital at dawn after a long battle with cancer. According to the family of the deceased, it has been barely three months since he sought advanced treatment in South Africa.

Murithi led the Kenya National Focal Point (KNFP) on Small Arms and Light Weapons until his death. The organization was created to oversee and coordinate efforts and actions related to arms control in the entire county.

The deceased was once the Director of Personnel at the Nairobi Police Headquarters. He also served as a traffic commandant for a while.

His police colleagues remembered him as a warm, devoted worker who was skilled at networking. His body is currently being preserved at the morgue as burial preparation begin. May his soul rest in peace.
