A lady in Bungoma is currently nursing some serious injuries after a merciless beating from a phone vendor in the area.
According to the lady, she forgot her phone at one of the phones selling outlets in Bungoma, minutes later when she returned to the shop all hell broke loose.
She later said that the shopkeeper requested four thousand shillings so that she could get back her phone.
"Aliniambia wanakulanga na Ocs kwa hivo hakuna pahali nta mpeleka," she said.
(he told me that they share everything with the Ocs and there was nothing I would do even at the police station)
The lady later said she toured the said police station, where the Ocs had her phone, amazingly the man was not arrested and the Ocs requested her to part with two thousand so that she would get her phone back.
I gave him the money and got my phone, she said crying".
The lady further said she was bleeding profusely from her privates after the man kicked her several times in the stomach.
She is currently recoup rating at Bungoma referral hospital after the shocking beating.
She has however called for all the relevant authorities to intervene and make sure the rogue man is brought to book for his uncouth behavior.
Cases of men abusing ladies have been on the rise, as the government called for better ways to solve issues other than engaging in physical fights that have caused more damage.
