Matatu operators especially are on the spotlight as accidents that involve matatus have been on a steady incline for a while now and the government is powerless in taming this menace.
This morning, there has been a deadly accident on St. Michaels Road that is found in Westlands, Nairobi.
Several people have been injured in the accident but according to an eye witness, they have been taken to the hospital.
It's unclear how the accident happened but the vehicle seems to have lost control and rammed into a wall that is by the road.
The Welkan Sacco Matatu operates in these Nairobi routes has been known to contravene a few rules here and there based by the complaints on social media.
We urge drivers to always be careful as their families still needs them and the lives of their passengers are equally important.
