Nairobi authorities have accused the property owners of ignoring directives issued by the National Construction Authority (NCA) and the county government.
At the same time, residents have been blaming the authorities for not doing enough to stop the rising cases of collapsing buildings in Nairobi.
The NCA have been urged to put tight measures to make sure that all buildings have the necessary requirements before they are being allowed to start the construction.
