Following the latest demonstrations that were ongoing earlier today in Kahawa West that led to death of one of the protestants, Some idlers have taken a step to release a counterfeit press on the bizarre surrounding the incident
"Attention of the National Police Service has been drawn to a series of killings of innocent civilians by rogue police officers. These killings, the most recent one being the Kahawa West incident, bear the hallmark of sabotage orchestrated to tarnish the image of police killings of innocent civilians.
I further direct the DCI to launch thorough investigations concerning the killings and the personnel involved.
As the Inspector general of police, I assure the public that as a service we shall set things right and any personnel deemed to have played a role shall be prosecuted in accordance with the laws of Kenya," the report read.
The office of IG and Ministry of Interior have denied the press and considered it fake and misleading.
