Hundreds Gather For Late Deejay's Fundraiser in Kericho

Hundreds of people gathered today at the late Dj Mwas' Kericho home in a fundraiser event. The fundraiser comes few days before burial alongside his wife Yvette Chepkemoi.

The couple lost their lives in a grisly road accident at Chelilis in Bureti Constituency along the busy Kericho-Litein Highway on Thursday evening. They have left behind a eight-month old girl, Tiffany. Friends and other distinguished personell arrived early to show solidarity with the fallen mentor's family.

Dj Mwas has been euologised as a selfless icon and an inspiration to many. While performing under his firm, Mwas Sounds Entertainment, Dj Mwas promoted young talent and created job opportunities to many. Deejay Mwas will be laid to rest on Friday in Nakuru.

Motorists have been urged to observe proper road regulations in order to avoid unnecessary accidents. They have further been urged to exercise the containment measures issued by the Ministry of Health, even as the coronavirus disease continue to bite.
