One of Kenya Vision 2030's flagship initiatives is the Huduma Kenya Program. The program was timed to coincide with the opening of the first Huduma Center in Kenya at the General Post Office in Nairobi, and it was announced by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Huduma Kenya is a government's program, aimed at increase everyone's ability of receiving and accessing government services. The program recently sent Kenyans a message about the national Identity Cards that was of the utmost importance.
The increased number of uncollected national identity cards in the Huduma centers was the cause of this. Over 200,000 Identity Cards have reportedly remained unclaimed at the Huduma Centers.
The Huduma Kenya has urged Kenyan citizens to visit their centers (Huduma centers) and pick up the national identity cards that have recently been replaced or applied for.
The following is taken from a statement on their official Twitter account: Vuka mwaka na ID yako. Have you recently replaced or applied for an ID? Please stop by one of our collection locations.
