Popular media personality Wanja Mwaura has shared the misfortunes brought about to their family by the deadly Covid-19.
Earlier in the day, Wanja explained that there were two burial events both happening today; one for a young cousin who died of cancer, and another for an aunt who collapsed shortly after loosing three members of her family within a period of 10 days.
She explained that she was confused on which burial to attend adding that she never had a chance to attend the burial of the aunt's family members as she was battling for her life from Covid-19.
On her evening update, Wanja has revealed that she chose to attend her aunt's burial so that she can give respect to her cousins who were buried while she was in hospital.
She narrated how it broke her down to see three fresh graves and instilling a fourth one today.
"I had to go pay my respects to my cousins since i didn't go to burry them. Three fresh graves and a fourth one was today of my aunt who couldn't overcome the grief of her children.
She urged her fans to pray for the children left by the deceased and further requested them to take precautionary measures against Covid-19 which is the cause of all these losses.
Wanja also survived death by a whisker after a strong battle with the pandemic. At some points she claimed to have given up but her fans kept her fighting untill she finally recovered.
She has however asserted that Covid-19 is a sting she will never forget.
