Just a few days ago, a traffic police officer was killed by a Motorist while on duty in Mombasa. The officer who has been serving for over decades lost his life in a very Gruesome manner. He is a father, husband, brother and a Friend and they must be going through the hardest time right now. The cop was killed by a 25 year old motorist who was arrested and as at now he is outside on a bail. It's really heartbreaking that the young rowdy man who ended the life of someone that was bringing order in our roads is free right now and not behind bars. Earlier reports has alleged that the motorist was a relative to Mike Sonko.
His widow who goes by the name Florence has today broken her silence. The now widowed woman is a mother of five. He has described her husband as a nice person. She further has spoken about the interference in the case by prominent persons and she is so worried on whether her husband will find justice.
There's been plenty of backlash on social concerning how the cop has been treating motorists. It's been a sad moment for family seeing their kin being talked about in such a bad way while he really was just doing his job. Florence has urged people and human rights organizations to look into the matter. The postpartum report stated that, the deceased had various injuries in his body and also had internal bleeding which led to his Death.
All she wants at now is that her husband gets Justice. Burial plans are underway and family members have stated that the body will be transferred to his home and burial ceremony will be conducted in Friday next week.
