Bus Tragedy: Come Out of Your Comfort Zone And Fix The Bridge, Ruto's Ally Bitterly Slams Gov Ngilu

Kimilili Constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Didmus Barasa has taken a swipe at Kitui County Governor Charity Ngilu over the recent tragedy at River Enziu.

Taking to the social media, the vocal legislator and a close ally of DP Ruto bitterly told the governor to get out of her comfort zone and construct the bridge. He asked Ngilu to fix the mess with the billions he gets annually adding that the River has been killing people every year

"Can you come out of that comfort zone and fix the bridge with all the billions that you receive yearly? This bridge has been killing people every year! For how long will this continue?" Read part of his statement.

Barasa's remarks comes barely 48 hours after a bus ferrying Catholic Church choir members to a wedding ceremony plunged into the river killing more than 30 people.

Kenyans have been mounting pressure on leaders blaming them for neglecting construction of the bridge which have for a long time been used as a campaign tool.
