Reports of a man who murdered his sister-in-law in cold blood using a machete emerged online leading to somber mood among Kenyans.
According to reports, the shocking incident occurred at a village known as Koriuo village, Rachuonyo sub county in Homabay county. Reports indicated that the suspect killed his sister-in-law who was a mother of two inside her house and disappeared from the scene.
Further reports indicated that Mr. Ayugi went into his brother's house and found the deceased by the name of Rose Atieno minutes after his husband had just left for work.
The suspect then attacked Rose by inflicting deep cuts on the neck and chopping her left palm leaving her dead. He ran away after realizing that he had committed murder.
Sources indicated that the suspect had suspected the deceased of sending his wife away after alteration. Police officers in Rachionyo are now pursuing to arrest the suspect and bring him to book.
