If you frequently visit social media pages you must have come across Sabina Chege at some point. She is a social media influencer and a politician who is well grounded to be distracted by naysayers.
Sabina is the former women representative of Muranga county and currently she was nominated to senate under jubilee political party. This being the christmas month Sabina decided to celebrate the month with disabled Kenyans from Kandara constituency in Muranga county.
According to her, she said that disabled people play an important role in our lives and help us nurture responsible individuals that contribute positively in the society. She added that by giving equal opportunities and the corresponding respect we grow a sense of confidence in the people with disability and create sense of belonging.
Apart from giving them christmas gifts she offered sewing machines to Githumu disabled self help group to boost their day to day cloth making activities. May God bless her for the charity work she is doing in the society.
