Speaking at Sikarara with her heart full of bitterness, Rael, said that, she is saddened the way her daughter chose to remain silent on the fate she was undergoing in her marriage instead of speaking to her to solve it.Adding that its painful watching her go through much pain on chopped hands. But requested the DCI to ensure that justice is done.
According to DCI reports based in Butula, her daughter was attacked by Bernard Ouma(husband) on Saturday. Who chopped off her hand before disappearing on awaiting motorcycle. An incident which was reported by the victim's sister ,who had no information about their wrangles.
DCI have since launched a manhunt of the suspect,so that he can be brought before the court. The victim is now receiving treatment at Busia county referral.
I take this opportunity to urge our daughters and women,to run away for their dear lives when they sense a danger.Don't sit quietly and assume that everything will be ok.
