Kenya Power Lightening Company this evening through their verified twitter account have announce places that will face a very long electricity blackout on Tuesday 30, November so as to allow KPLC personnels carry out the national grid system maintenance.
KPLC for a very long period of time have been urging their client to avoid practicing illegal connection as this will lead to low voltage from the main supply in that particular area. The company have been asking their residents to apply for electricity connection instead of practicing illegal connection which will end up bringing distaste and huge loss.
Last week, KPLC personnels were drives along Nairobi areas inspecting any kind of illegal connection so as to ensure client who are connected to the national grid system are served with adequate voltage that meet their needs. KPLC however have been advising the residents and their client to ensure he/she practice electricity safety so as to make the national grid system reliable to be used.
Turning our mind into power interruption plan is that, KPLC have been mandated to maintain the national grid system that which will ensure reliability of the grid.The listed areas below will experience a very long electricity blackout on Tuesday 30, October from morning hours till evening hours for maintenance purposes.
