A suspected robber Arrested in Dagoreti with Homemade Pistol by Cops Moment After being Traced.

A suspect in a robbery was arrested by police on Monday in Dagoretti, and they also found a homemade pistol.

The Public Police Administration detailed that a group of cops from Dagoretti Subcounty caught the suspect in the wake of getting knowledge.

They stated, "He led the officers to his house after they intercepted him at Delta Petrol Station in Kawangare 46."

The police found several items during their search of the house.

"One tear gas grenade, one Samsung Tablet, one machete, one homemade pistol capable of firing, one Nokia mobile phone suspected to have been stolen," they stated.

According to the National police service, the male adult suspect was arrested and taken into custody until his arraignment.

"Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspect and his male accomplice, who is still at large, are linked to an earlier robbery incident that occurred on the morning of December 26," they stated. "The suspect and his male accomplice, who is still at large."

The National police service unit stated that Waithaka Police Station had received a report of the same incident.

They went on to say, "We thank members of the public for providing information that led to the arrest and recovery of the items."
