The General public has been notified of the unfortunate demise of Corporal Reuben Koskei who was serving at Lang'ata police station in Nairobi.
According to a Facebook post by the Kenya Police, Reuben passed on today at around 1130hrs in the morning. Reports indicate that the fallen hero went to sleep at his residential home yesterday at around 2300hrs.
His neighbor, Corporal Gershon Wanyoyi reportedly went to wake him up at around in the morning at around 11.30am. He entered the open door but his found him lifeless.
The scene was visited by SOB Lang'ata, OCS Lang'ata and a number of police officers from Lang'ata police station and processed by scenes of crime personnel.
His body was ferried to Montezuma Morgue in the capital of Nairobi and it awaits autopsy to unearth the cause of his death.
This comes just a day after we lost an Administration police officer who succumbed to severe head injuries after his cruise bike rammed into a bus along the busy Thika-Garissa Highway.
