Hafsa Luqman has revealed more details of how she was tortured after being kidnapped.
She says her friend Hafsa Abdi was just a neighbour and they did not know each other well. One day, Hafsa Abdi approached her and asked her to be her business partner. Hafsa Abdi started a melon business but according to Hafsa Luqman, the business was not bringing any profits but Hafsa Abdi kept on asking for more money from her.
She kept on giving her cash which ended up being 700,000 Kenyan shillings.
On the fateful day when she was kidnapped, Hafsa Abdi called her and told her she wanted to meet her to discuss business.
She told her she would pick her up from her business premises in Eastleigh. Hafsa Abdi came but after some few minutes, two men came and attacked Hafsa Luqman.
They stuffed saw dust and papers inside her mouth. Aside from that, they closed her eyes and tied her hands.
Afterwards, they threw her inside a water tank. They then removed her and transferred her to a different location.
Hafsa Luqman was found in Kayole by the police on 20th June, 5 days after she went missing.
On the other hand, Hafsa Abdi and her lover were found in Kinagop where they went to hide after siphoning 650,000 Kenyan shillings from Hafsa Luqman's account.
Hafsa hopes that justice will be served.
