The Northern corridor of Kenya is accessed through this road that branches off in different sections as it heads to the famous town of Nyeri.
This evening, the road will be temporarily closed and motorists have been urged to exercise a little patience.
The temporary closure will enable the contractor who is working on the road to blow up part of a wall for expansion of the road.
The Government of Kenya through the Kenya National Highway Authority, has been expanding the road into international standards for a while now.
Motorists plying this road tonight have been urged to be extra careful and not to carelessly overlap on this section.
Normalcy will be restored as soon as the contractor blows part of the wall at that juncture of the road and it is safe for motorists to pass.
