The deceased identified as Eunice Njeri, was reportedly strangled before the killers dumped her body. The body was recovered and an autopsy was done at the Egerton University funeral home by Dr Wangari Wambugu.
Detective believe that Njeri was killed by her friends after one of them suspected an affair with her husband. The day before she was killed, the friends reportedly left her with the husband to attend a funeral only to return late at night.
They suspected a steamy affair which led to a series of confrontations and arguments. The deceased was called by the two friends the following day to resolve the matter and put it to rest. Sadly, it was the last time she was seen alive.
Forensic evidence place one of the friends at the murder scene and was arrested together with two others. They have been identified as Diana Njeri and Tamar Wambora who were friends to the deceased and one Eric Maingi.
Diana and Eric are also facing electronic fraud charges and they will be arraigned in court as the forensic detectives continue to search for accomplices that aided in dumping the body.
