Rainfall Expected In Some Parts Of The Country Check If Your Area Will be Affected

Kenyans have received an impressive report from Kenya Meteorological Department this evening. According to the report shared through their official website, few parts of the country are likely to receive heavy downpour. A thing that has sparked alot of reactions from people across the country.

In a statement released by KMD, most parts of the country are likely to receive sunny and dry conditions as from tomorrow until Monday next week. However there are few places in the country that are likely to receive rains as from today night.

Therefore most parts of the country are likely to be generally sunny and dry. There is however a possibility of occasional showers occuring over few places in the Highlands West of Rift Valley, the South Eastern Lowlands and the South coast.

Finally strong southeasterly winds with speed exceeding 25 knots are also expected over several parts of the the coastal. Counties including Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, West Pokot, Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori, Baringo, Nakuru, Narok and Laikipia are likely to receive sunny intervals during the morning hours while showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon and nights.

Some parts of the country like Turkana and Sambaru are likely to receive sunny intervals during the morning hours and afternoon hours. However there nights are expected to receive cloudy conditions.

In a nutshell, Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Murang'a, Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru and Tharaka Nithi are also expected to receive sunny and dry conditions especially in the morning hours. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are likely to occur over few places in the region.
