Kenya Roads Authority (KENHA)Announces Measures to Ease Traffic Congestion In The Some Areas In Nairobi

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced further measures to ease traffic congestion along the Nairobi Expressway course.

In a public notice issued on Monday, the highways regulator says it has opened up sections of the Expressway to traffic to pave way for restoration works along the existing highway.This to incorporate the part along Imara Daima to Isuzu East Africa (General Motors/GM) and the segment along Airtel central command. 

KeNHA further says it has opened a few redirections along the Mlolongo-JKIA stretch to permit straightforward entry to organizations and neighborhoods. 

Further, KeNHA says it has opened the new assembled street from Westlands to the James Gichuru intersection to work with chips away at the other portion of the street which is set to be finished toward the finish of October. 

Simultaneously, the new common scaffold at GM has been opened for public use as the old extension is deconstructed. KeNHA has anyway advised of conceivable blockage along the GM span where attempts to cut down the old scaffold proceeds. 

Shut segments along the Westlands-James Gichuru course are relied upon to be opened by October 30 while the Haile Sellasie-UON Roundabout segment will open by Friday this week.
