A fifty-year-old aged man is cooling his heels at the Kola police station after he was finally nabbed by highly trained police detectives having forced himself on his ten-year-old daughter on September 28, 2021.
The man who has been identified as John Muema Ndilu fell into the police dragnet after detectives launched a manhunt against him for committing the heinous act on the grade three pupil.
The father had forced himself on her daughter while the mother was away fetching water from a nearby river and had threatened to kill the girl if she dared reveal what was done to her.
The girl opened up to her mother today and she escorted her daughter to the police station where they reported the incident which led to the arrest of the man who is now in police custody while her daughter was taken to a local hospital for medical examination.
"Meanwhile in Kilungu, Makueni County, a 50-year-old man reported to have defiled his 10-year-old daughter while her mother was away is behind bars.
