Kisii County has been full of wierd drama day in day out among them being the burning alive of witches. Witchcraft is an activity believed to involve using supernatural powers to bring harm to another Member of the community due to various reasons. An old woman becomes the latest victim to be burnt alive following those allegations.
She was placed out by strong men and beaten ruthlessly. In a photo a man is Seen wielding a machete threatening to reduce her to pieces. All this is done a mob watches helplessly. The woman begs for mercy pleading that she is innocent to no avail.
Beside her is a mattress believed to be belonging to her which also was burnt alongside her. This move has sparked mixed reactions from netizens with a section demanding the men responsible to be taken in and be charged. On the other hand such cases of witchcraft usually don't have any evidence in court and they tend to assume them due to lack of evidence leaving others unfortunate.
