Gender violence cases are still increasing in Kenya, and our government is still urged to chip in and ensure safety in every part of the country. According to the latest news by the KTN media platform, a man is reported allegedly humiliating his daughter in Kitui county. He did this after his wife went for ceremony arrangements, where he asked his daughter to come and sleep with him. As she refused, her father waited until she was asleep and forcefully slept with her.
One of the government officials has sent a stern warning to all men who are committing this and said that police with not let them get away with it. Ladies are facing a hard time as society is not favoring them, and this now sends an alarm to the ministries involved in this that they need to pull up their socks and arrest the lawbreakers.
One of the people said that many are being threatened by death once they disclose this, and that is why these cases are not being taken to the court. What are your views concerning this? Kindly share your comments with us.
