This Afternoon around 2pm an accident occurred along Nakuru-Kericho highway. The accident occured at Kedowa junction. The accident involving Dreamline Coaches which was heading Kericho and Saloon car heading Nakuru.
The one occupant of the saloon car died on the spot. Passengers in the bus were injured on some passengers. The cause of the accident according to the eyewitness said that the bus was trying to overtake a truck. The bus driver did not notice the saloon car coming on opposite direction The private car driver tried as much as possible to escape the bus but the bus was being driven at high speed.
The bus driver was arrested as he was trying to escape. The londiani Sub-County commissioner said the driver is being held at londiani police station as further investigation being conducted
Police have started investigation on the cause of the Accident. One of the passengers Joseph Bett said the Bus was being driven at high speed before the accident all the way from Nairobi and was overtaking carelessly
The two deceased were taken to londiani Sub-County hospital. The injure ld passengers were treated and discharge.The car and a bus were towed to Kedowa police station for further inspection
