A body of a girl has been retrieved yesterday morning in Rwarai river while stashed in a sack.It is said that the girl was a form one student at Ngamwa high school in Mukurweini Nyeri county.
The mysteriously dissapeared three weeks ago when she was from school as she was heading home.Itvis said that the family of the girl together with the community have been trying to find her but with no good outcomes.
Preliminary findings shows that the girl could have been raped and later murdered by unknown people.It shows that the girl was subjected to physical torture before her body thrown into the Rwarai river.
The neighbours retrieved her body yesterday in the morning where they immediately informed the police where they came and took the 14 year old girl's body to Mukurweini hospital mortuary for postmortem as the police investigate the cause of the death of the girl.
